good friends Saba & Co. in their April 2015 newsletter (here) that filing fees, substantive
examination fees, and accumulated annuities related to patent applications
filed before 12 January 2015 must be paid by 31 July 2015. For new patent
applications the second and third annuity fees must be paid.
Further news from good friends SMAS by email that the Qatari Patent Office has requested applicants to:
1. Pay the official filing fees of US$550.
2. Pay the official examination fees of US$1390.
3. Pay all accumulated annuity fees on pending application filed in 2012, and 2013. The base date of annuity fee is the filing date of International PCT application.
The official annuity fees will be calculated as follows:
