Further to the earlier post here this part of the Empty Quarter
now has a copy of Cabinet Decree 9/2015 dated 4 March 2015, published in
Official Gazette no. 577 dated 31 March 2015 (published on 21 April 2015) with
the full details of the significant increases to the official fees for many
transactions at the Ministry of Economy including trade marks, patents, designs
and copyrights.
The new fees apply from 29 May 2015. There are no
transitional provisions and so the new fees are expected to apply to all fees
payable from Sunday 31 May 2015. The new fees are:
